Writing Projects
For the last dozen years I have worked as a field editor for Explore Magazine and have written for a number of periodicals on a regular basis, including ON Nature, Kanawa, Ontario Outdoors and Rapid. A regular column, titled Butt End, has appeared in Canoeroots Magazine since its conception, as well as a monthly column on the web site Paddling.net.

Media Appearances
On a regular basis I present on a number of subjects (i.e. new cool camp gadgets, how to prepare for a camping trip, what you need to know before purchasing your first canoe, camp cooking tips...) for Canada AM, Breakfast Television, TVO, CBC, Rogers, and a variety of regional morning shows on both television and radio.

• The total number of places presented at reached 39 main venues, with an estimated audience total being 7,000
• Media coverage totaled 19 television and radio interviews and 18 print media promotion pieces.
• Film on Quetico Provincial Park entered into the Reel Paddling Film Festival reached 70 venues across North America, and had an audience of over 20,000
• Killarney Provincial Park film for TVO saw the same numbers
• "Killarney North" entered in the Waterwalker Film Festival was also viewed across North America with an estimated audience of 12,000
