The J Stroke and Canadian Stroke – How to 0

Kevin and his family do a day trip in the neighbouring municipality of Tweed, Ontario and shows how to paddle the J Stroke and Canadian Stroke. Rivers like the Skootamatta, Black and Moira offer fantastic whitewater paddling in the Spring of the year, but the calmer sections also provide perfect day outings during the Summer and Fall.

Here’s a great on-line route map of the entire Skootamatta River. Kevin’s family did the stretch from the Highway #7 access, north to High Falls, and return. An easy half day journey.
